AUMC Kids' Stuff Consignment Sale

Friday Drop-Off

Friday Drop-Off
Items to be consigned should be brought to the Atrium on Friday, November 11, 2016, between 11:00 am - 5:00 pm.  Please do not bring items to the Church except during these hours.  At 5:00 pm the sales floor will be closed.  At 5:30 pm all items MUST be on the sales floor.  We must keep to this schedule to accommodate the Friday evening Volunteer Pre-Shop.

At the time of Drop Off:
  • Consignors MUST check in.  During check in a Consignor Check-In team member will ensure you have a Consignor Agreement Form on file to verify that you have read and agree to the most current consignor commission rates, terms, merchandise condition standards, and your mailing address.  Any commission check returned to AUMC, or not received by the consignor, will be re-sent ONLY after receiving writing notice (email is fine) notifying a consignment sale committee member that their check has not been received and their correct mailing address. There will be a $30.00 charge for checks re-issued due to incorrect addresses or other errors not the fault of AUMC.  The $30 represents the Stop Payment Fee charged to stop the first check issued to the Consignor.
  • Items will be quickly inspected to ensure tags are securely attached and sales tags are filled out correctly and items are in good order.  We do try to make this as smooth and fast as possible. But we have – many times – found sales tags without consignor numbers on them!  By going through this step we help ensure that consignors receive the full value of the items they consign.
  • Consignors must confirm that non-clothing items contain all parts (i.e., puzzles, games).
  • Batteries must be loaded into any item requiring them.  You might also wish to switch out older batteries in a game/toy your currently use and place them into an item you are consigning – the batteries only have to enable a shopper to verify that the item does indeed work.
  • All sales tags must fit the required format as described in detail in the "tagging" section of the website.
  • Consignors are responsible for placing their items on racks and/or tables as designated.  For ease of placement, please separate your clothing items by gender and size prior to arriving at Drop Off.  Volunteers will help you place your items on the sales floor.  Limited assistance will be available for larger items.
Note: In order to be fair to all Volunteers and Consignors, there can be no pre-sale shopping in the parking lot or elsewhere on AUMC premises during Drop Off times.  Sales for items outside of the Consignment Sale should take place away from the premises of AUMC.
