Please read the contents of this page and complete the form at the bottom:

By participating in the Sale, you confirm and agree to the following:

The Annandale United Methodist Church Weekday Preschool and Early Learning Program will keep 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% or 70% of the total tag receipts, based upon the number of participant volunteer hours. To view the commission chart, CLICK HERE.

How To Consign:
It is the Consignor’s responsibility to read the Acceptable to Consign, Condition Standards, Sale Tag Instructions, Friday Drop Off and Tips for Drop Off information found under the Consign tab on this web site.

Tagging and Merchandise Condition:
It is the consignor's sold responsibility to tag and mark clearly each item with a Consignor number, size (if applicable), item description and price, according to the guidelines explained on the website.
  • Items not tagged according to the Sales Tag Instructions will not be allowed on the sales floor.  It will be the Consignor’s sole responsibility to re-tag each item if they wish to participate in the Sale.
  • Clothing must hang on an appropriate child-size hanger, with the sole exception of clothing size 12 and larger.  No wire or dry cleaner hangers allowed regardless of the size of clothing (unless bent to create a child-size hanger).
  • Items appearing to be broken or otherwise not intact will not be accepted for sale.
  • Clothing items which are found to be stained, ripped, or are otherwise damaged will be removed from the sales floor, unless the sales tag mentions the defect and the item is priced accordingly. However, all items are accepted for sale at the sole discretion of the Sales Managers and the Sale Co-Chairs..
  • Where possible, the Consignment Sale Manager will price items with lost tickets using best judgment in pricing.  Items sold this way will be notated so that Consignors can check a list to see if any items belonged to them.  The list will be sent to all consignors within 10 days of the sale date.

Consignor Volunteers:
Consignors who volunteer with the Sale agree to read all Volunteer Instructions for the team(s) they sign-up to volunteer with.  Consignors agree to be prepared to complete all the team tasks as described in the Volunteer Instructions.  Volunteers who fail to complete tasks assigned will not be given credit for that volunteer time.

Whereas AUMC volunteers will try to assure that merchandise is not damaged during the set-up and sale, AUMC will not assume any liability for the Consignor’s items.  Each Consignor must collect unsold items between 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm on the day of the Sale.  It is the final responsibility of the Consignor to collect all of the Consignor’s unsold merchandise.  Items left behind or not collected as agreed will become the property of AUMC for future resale or donation to local charity.
